Omer Leshem, MA
Omer Leshem, MA, is a 4 th year doctoral candidate in the clinical psychology program at The New School for Social Research. He has worked with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings including community outpatient clinics, an inpatient psychiatric unit, a university counseling center, and a public school.
Omer’s research is focusing on audience-performer communications in different musical settings and his dissertation examines the social, technological, and aesthetic effects of remote musical collaborations between jazz musicians during COVID-19.
Omer completed his BFA in music performance and he is a passionate saxophonist and composer performing both around the city and internationally.
