Jade Segre, LMSW
Postgraduate Therapist
Jade Segre works with individuals and couples from a psychodynamic lens. In individual work, she is interested in helping patients to see and explore the patterns of conflict, disconnection, anger, fear, obsession, and more in their lives. Patients will connect those cycles to their past experiences and formative relationships and through achieving a deeper understanding of oneself and through building an authentic and enriching relationship with each other, patients can find new ways of being, living, and relating. Jade enjoys working with members of the queer and trans community, but she works with adults of all ages, backgrounds, and lived experiences.
In couples work, she helps partners identify cycles of conflict, misunderstanding, and disconnection. Through close observation and intervention, Jade offers new ways for couples to listen, communicate, and connect. She helps each partner to identify how their past emerges within the relationship and offers a supportive and warm environment to work through the struggles of intimacy.
Jade's clinical work is also informed by her time doing legal advocacy and her social work background. She helps couples and individuals to understand and explore how their lived experiences are shaped by the social and political structures that undergird our lives.
